The verification promise covers creators, co-performers and fans
| Who | What they pass | When |
|---|---|---|
| Creators | Government ID and live selfie, face matched to the document | Before anything on the profile is public |
| Co-performers | Their own ID and live selfie check, plus a signed consent for each release | Before any post they appear in goes live |
| Fans | Age check by region (ID plus selfie where the law requires it, facial age estimate with a buffer elsewhere) | Before the first purchase and the first explicit post |
The fan check applies everywhere, not only where a law forces it. If a facial estimate comes out under 25, an ID check follows. Co-performer records are kept by the platform as 18 U.S.C. 2257 records and equivalents elsewhere, described in our 2257 statement.
Wording that suggests youth is rejected automatically
We keep a list of terms and patterns that describe or suggest a person under 18, school settings or childhood. Any match in a title, caption, tag, profile name, bio, mass message or search query is rejected before it is published, and the creator sees why. Search returns nothing for such queries, and discovery has no categories, tags or sorting based on age. The list catches spelling tricks such as spaces, dots and digits in place of letters. What is and is not allowed is spelled out in our content guidelines.
Every upload is checked before it goes live
Media passes automatic checks first, then a review. Anything ambiguous is rejected by default, and the creator can appeal with more context. A post that features another person is held until that person is verified and has signed a consent for the release.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material
If anything suggests child sexual abuse material, the account is blocked at once, the evidence is preserved and the case is reported to NCMEC (the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) and the relevant authorities. There is no warning, no second chance and no waiting for anyone's approval.
Anyone can report, and we decide within 24 hours
Every post, profile, message and live stream has a Report button. Visitors without an account can use the report page. Content reported as illegal is hidden at once while it is reviewed, and a decision follows within 24 hours. Reports about someone who may be under 18 or about content shared without consent go to the front of the queue.
ID data is used for verification and records, nothing else
- Your ID and selfie are used to verify you and to keep the records the law requires.
- They are never shown to fans, to other creators or on your profile.
- Your public profile shows only your creator name.
- Fans see creators by name and creators see fans by handle, never legal names or card details.
How we store and protect personal data is described in our privacy policy.
Leak protection follows your content around
Media carries a watermark with the viewing fan's handle, so a leaked copy points to the account it came from. A screenshot deterrent is on for posts. From the studio you can send DMCA takedown notices for leaked copies, and paid plans add an automatic leak scan, described on creator tools.
Region blocking keeps your page out of chosen countries
Hide your whole profile, or a single post, in the countries you pick. Many creators use it to stay invisible where they live or where family and coworkers might look.
Frequently asked questions
How do you know every creator is an adult?
Every creator passes a government ID check and a live selfie matched to the document. The profile goes public only after identity approval.
Are fans verified too?
Yes. Every fan is age verified before the first purchase and the first explicit post, everywhere, with the method the law of their region requires.
What happens when content is reported?
Content reported as illegal is hidden at once and a decision follows within 24 hours. Visitors without an account can report too.
Who sees my ID?
Nobody on the platform. Your ID and selfie are used for verification and legally required records, and fans see only your creator name.
What happens if someone uploads CSAM?
The account is blocked at once, the evidence is preserved and the case is reported to NCMEC and the relevant authorities.
Can I hide my page in my country?
Yes. Region blocking works for the whole profile or for single posts.
